Chiropractic care at our Concord clinic focuses on the spine and joints, helping with back and neck pain, headaches and injuries from everyday strain or motor vehicle accidents.
Chiropractors assess and treat problems involving the spine, joints, muscles and nervous system. Treatment typically uses spinal and joint manipulation or mobilization alongside soft-tissue techniques and advice on posture and activity.
At Phoenix Physio, chiropractic care sits alongside physiotherapy and massage therapy, so your clinicians can work together when an injury needs more than one approach.
People often come to our chiropractor with back or neck pain that's affecting work, sleep or sport, headaches that seem to start in the neck, or pain and stiffness after a car accident. If you're not sure whether chiropractic care is right for you, your first visit will help answer that.
Your first visit starts with a history and physical examination to understand where your pain is coming from and whether chiropractic care is a good fit. If it is, your chiropractor will explain the techniques they recommend, and you're always free to ask questions or opt out of any technique.
When it helps, your chiropractor can bring in other services at the clinic, such as physiotherapy for progressive strengthening or massage therapy for muscle tension.
Expect a conversation about your symptoms, a hands-on assessment and, in most cases, treatment on the same day. Adjustments are usually quick. You may hear a 'pop' from gas releasing in the joint, which is normal. Some people feel mild soreness for a day afterwards, similar to after exercise.
Our chiropractic care is delivered at the same Rutherford Road clinic as our physiotherapy and massage services, so if you're in Concord or nearby Vaughan you can keep your care in one place.

Chiropractic care is provided by Dr. Arvin Sepahdoost, who is also an acupuncture provider at the clinic.
Many extended health plans include chiropractic care. We accept most insurance plans and can check your coverage before your visit.
Motor vehicle accident injuries such as whiplash are among the problems our chiropractor treats. Your first visit includes an assessment to confirm whether chiropractic care is appropriate for your injury.
No referral is needed to book. Some insurance plans have their own requirements, so it's worth checking your policy.
